Mustard to take the ice at All-American Game

PLYMOUTH, Mich. — For years, the AYHL got to see John Mustard’s talent firsthand. On Jan. 15, the whole country will have that same opportunity, as he gears up alongside the other top prospects for this year’s NHL Draft for the 2024 All-American Game.

The game will feature two teams of the top 45 NHL draft prospects facing off against one another. Mustard will suit up for the White Team. The talented young forward first cut his teeth in the AYHL playing for the North Jersey Avalanche, where he sharpened his skills and set the foundation for what looks to be an outstanding career. His skill and talent have led to many experts projecting him to be taken in this summer’s NHL draft sometime around the fourth round.

AYHL couldn’t be prouder of John for demonstrating the value of hard work and dedication to current AYHL players. We wish him the best of luck in the All-American Game, and even more luck as he goes pro in June’s NHL draft.
