WEST CHESTER, Pa. - Kicking off the 2022-2023 season Player of the Week recognition is 15O Philadelphia Jr. Flyers forward Dominick Rotella. Head Coach John Rogger and his staff have been impressed with Rotella’s strong character and dedication to the team over the summer and beginning of the season.

“He is a great leader both on and off the ice, and is always looking out for the best interest of the team. He is the first one in the room and the last one to leave,” praised Rogger.

Last year, Rotella tallied 15 goals and seven assists in the 25 games he players with the Jr. Flyers in the 14U Major division. He is looking to repeat that strong performance.

“Dom is one of those players that every coach loves to have on his team,” said Rogger. “He competes every shift he is in and plays a 200-ft game with skill.”

Currently, Rotella and the Jr. Flyers are gearing up for their first league game of the season against Palmyra Black Knights. Rotella’s team had a third place finish in the regular season last year, with only seven points separating them from the top of the division.
