Jr. Titans advance from within with seven AYHL players heading to NAHL team

MIDDLETOWN, N.J. — The Atlantic Youth Hockey League is proud of its history helping players elevate their game and advance to the next level. One of the league associations has developed a direct advancement pathway for players, and this season seven have been tendered or affiliated from the AYHL ranks to the North American Hockey League (NAHL).

The New Jersey Jr. Titans have been longtime members of the AYHL and also house a NAHL franchise that has gone on to great success over the past few years. Since 2016, 27 players from AYHL teams within the organization have advanced to the Jr. Titans’ NAHL team.

This year, seven more will join the ranks including AYHL 18U forwards Jackson Chicola, Trevor Dalton, Lachlan Haeger, and Nick Reich and defense JP Saddy, Ryan Starman, and RJ Sun.

The Jr. Titans NAHL program is specifically designed to foster an environment conducive to player growth. From there, the players are moved along the internal pipeline, where they have an even greater chance of success. In the 2021-22 season alone, the NAHL had over 300 NCAA commits for the sixth season in a row, over 76% of which were Division-I commitments. The Jr. Titans are proud to be a program that prioritizes the success and growth of players above all else.
