FLORHAM PARK, N.J. – The North American 3 Atlantic Hockey League’s twelfth week of play begins Friday evening when the New Jersey Renegades travel to Exton, Pennsylvania to take on the Exton Bulls at Power Play Rinks for the first game of a three-game series. NA3AHL Game of the Week
Saturday’s matchup between the Renegades and the Bulls will be the NA3AHL Game of the Week. The Renegades won the only matchup between the teams, 4-1, on October 29. Joseph Konrath (Groeville, NJ) notched a pair of first-period goals in the victory and Ryan Messinger (New York, NY) had 20 saves. Alex Goldbrunner (Speyer, Germany) had 48 saves for Exton and Nick Barnett (Lancaster, PA) had the lone goal for the Bulls.

With its two-game sweep of the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights, the Long Island Royals improved to 21-0 to remain one of just four undefeated teams in Tier 3 junior hockey (per Dating back to the 2004-05 season, there was not been an undefeated team in Metropolitan Junior Hockey League.
Making their point
Wilkes-Barre/Scranton forward Jake Fuss (Fairfield, CT) continues to lead the NA3AHL in points with 90 (42G 48A), but has fallen off the pace behind Long Beach forward Martins Vitolins atop the Tier 3 leaderboard. Fuss has fallen into third place, 10 points behind Vitolins. The rookie forward is tied for the lead in goals scored, with his teammate Josh Kim (Livonia, NY) with 42.

Long Island’s Matthew Araujo (Brookhaven, NY) continues to lead NA3AHL defensemen in points with 37 (17G 20A), which also places seventh among all players and places among the top-50 players in Tier 3 juniors.

2016 NA3AHL All-Star Game
The 2016 North American 3 Atlantic Hockey League All-Star Game will be held at Aston Ice Works on December 9 at 3:45. The North American Hockey League’s Aston Rebels will host the game, prior to their matchup against Wilkes-Barre/Scranton

Coaches for the event will be announced on Monday, November 28 and the rosters will be announced Tuesday, November 29.

Week Eleven Stars of the Week
Taking home the weekly honors for week eleven were Royals forward Aiden Boehm (Nesconset, NY) (1), Metro Fighting Moose goaltender Thomas Sullivan (Floral Park, NY) (2), and Jersey Wildcats forward James Durante (Mahwah, NJ) (3).
Boehm grabs the first star of the week after a four-goal performance in Long Island’s two-game sweep of the Knights to remain both undefeated and atop the NA3AHL standings. He netted his second hat trick of the season in the opening 8-3 victory and then added a goal in Sunday’s 5-4 victory. The rookie forward has scored in every game this season. Sullivan grabs the second star after a 34-save performance in his team’s 4-3 come-from-behind victory over the Wildcats. Durante picks up the final star of the week after singlehandedly keeping the Wildcats in the game against the Moose with his third hat trick of the season.
A Little “Tender”ness
Long Island Royals goaltender Brandon Perrone (Smithtown, NY) has inked a tender with the New Jersey Junior Titans for the 2017-18 season, making Perrone the first NA3AHL player to ink a North American Hockey League tender.

After going 13-0 with a 1.95 goals against average and a 0.940 save percentage, Perrone has gone 2-1 with a 2.40 goals against average and a 0.919 save percentage in four NAHL appearances with the Titans.
