The Elite Hockey Program and the AYHL are pleased to announce that defenseman Jake Lammens has committed to play NCAA Division I hockey for St. Lawrence University in the ECAC.

Lammens, 15, is completing his second season playing for the Elite Hockey Program.  The 2002, 5’10/150lb. native of Norwalk, Connecticut, is coming off a great summer and a strong start of the season at the ECC Labor Day Cup and AYHL Fall Classic to date.

“I couldn’t be more excited to join the St. Lawrence hockey family. My last two seasons at the Elite Hockey Program have given me great opportunities to play with and against other high level players.  The coaching staff at Elite Hockey Program run great skill sessions and fast paced drills that translate to game situations to help better prepare me.  I owe many thanks to my family, friends, and coaches who have guided me throughout my career and continue to support me into my future,” said Lammens.

“Over the past two seasons Lammens has proven to be an elite level player in in the AYHL and ECEL.  Our organization is excited to be part of his development and ultimately playing a role in helping him reach his goal of playing at the NCAA Division I level.  St. Lawrence is getting a fantastic and talented young man that will be proud to wear the Saints Crest,” said Elite Hockey Program, coach Peter Alden.

“Extremely happy for Jake, his skill set, ability to manage the puck and play with poise are what separates him at a young age.  He demonstrates a great attitude and work ethic both on and off the ice.  He is a pleasure to coach.  He will continue to develop and be ready to play Division I hockey.” Said Associate Head Coach, David Crandall.
