Atlantic Youth Hockey League

 

The AYHL is pleased to announce that three players have been named to the USA Hockey Five Nations Under-17 Roster. Michael Cameron (Philadelphia Jr. Flyers 16U) Jared Crespo (North Jersey Avalanche 16U) and Daniyal Dzhaniyev (New Jersey Titans 15U). The AYHL is very proud to be one of  the top tier 1 youth league in the United States, and to have three players on this roster is a fantastic reflection on how our league is one of the best on the  East Coast.

 

Last season in the Jr Flyers black and orange Cameron, showed that every time he came to the rink he was there to play. Michael played in 20 games scoring 19 goals and having 20 assists for a season total of 40pts. Dzhaniyev another forward, played in the 15-Pure level of the AYHL for the always strong and physical, New Jersey Titans. Playing in 27 games scoring 17 goals adding 24 assists, season total of 41pts. We can’t forget about Jared Crespo, of the North Jersey Avalanche. Crespo, 5’11” 187lbs defensemen, held the blue line strong for the Avs this season in 20 games he found the back of the net 6 times adding 10 assists to help the Avalanche win the AYHL.

 

The 2018 Under-17 Five Nations Tournament is set to take place in Piestany, Slovakia, from August 15-19. The U.S., which is competing alongside the Czech Republic, Germany, Slovakia and Switzerland, is searching for its fourth consecutive title at the competition. The Atlantic Youth Hockey League is the USA Hockey-sanctioned Tier I AAA youth hockey league of the Atlantic District. From Connecticut to Maryland, the AYHL’s membership is comprised of over 100 teams, representing four districts, and is spread across six playing divisions. The AYHL’s mission is to develop young players with competition, fun, and good sportsmanship, and move them on to the next phase of their hockey career. With a distinguished alumni list of players that spent a portion of their playing career in the AYHL, today’s players choose to play in the AYHL knowing that it is a proven stepping stone for those serious in their hockey pursuits.
