Team Maryland's Basse commits to Colorado College

ALEXANDRIA, Va. (December 15, 2017) – Team Maryland is pleased to announce that 16U goaltender Dominic Basse has committed to Colorado College for the 2021-2022 season.

A three-year player in the Atlantic Youth Hockey League (AYHL), Basse has played to a 1.97 goals against average in his third season with Team Maryland.

“I’m really excited to commit to Colorado College,” Basse commented. “It was great to meet the coaches at all of the schools I visited, but in the end, I felt that [Colorado College] was the best fit for me as a student and an athlete.”

As a 15-year old, Basse piloted Team Maryland to the 18U championship game and participated in the prestigious Warren Strelow National Team Goaltending Camp. Basse also was chosen to participate in the Select-16s, where he made the camp’s All-Star Game.
