Karashik Commits to UCONN

NORWALK, CONN. – The Atlantic Youth Hockey League and the Connecticut Oilers are pleased to defenseman Adam Karashik (’98 birth year/ Ridgefield, Conn.) has committed to the University of Connecticut for the 2018-19 season.

UCONN is a division one program playing out of the Hockey East Conference.

Karashik had played for the Oilers for the last two seasons. This past season, Adam played with the Connecticut Oilers AYHL Midget 18U team where the Ridgefield, Connecticut resident had one goal and four assists in 17 AYHL contests.

During the season Karashik received a call-up to play for the Oilers EHL team. He practiced and continued his development with the Oilers organization under the direction of EHL Head Coach Eric Lind.

Adam is also on the USA Hockey's New England Districts 17U Selects Team for the 2014-15 season.

The AYHL, and the Connecticut Oilers, wish Adam, and his family, all the best and a very successful future.
