Coaches For Chad Fundraiser to Begin Tomorrow

games kick-off on Friday, there will be an additional event that will also begin on Friday that will have additional meaning. The AYHL Coaches for Chad event will feature fundraisers for New Jersey Devils Youth Midget U-16 National Head Coach Chad Dlugolecki, who was recently diagnosed with cancer, following a routine check up

The event will run all day long on Friday and will feature a raffle for prizes including four VIP seats in a luxury skybox at MetLife Stadium to see the New York Jets with on-field access during pre-game, four New York Rangers tickets, two tickets behind the bench to see the New Jersey Devils take on the Washington Capitals at the Prudential Center, box seat tickets to Citi Field to see the New York Mets, autographed NHL memorabilia and more.

There will also be hardest shot and accuracy contests sponsored by Harrow Sports, who have donated prize packs for the top performer at each contest, sorted by age group, including a special division for adults.

All proceeds will directly benefit Chad and his on-going medical treatment as he enters the biggest battle of his life.

“The AYHL has always proven itself to be a community of integrity and compassion,” said event organizer Jamie Cahill. “I am hoping that we can band together, in a fundraising effort, to help Chad, and his family, through this struggle.”
